The Swedish group Electrolux AB is one of the world's leading manufacturers of kitchen appliances for private and commercial use. With a turnover of over 100 billion Swedish crowns and around 53,000 employees, the kitchen appliance manufacturer is also one of the largest companies in the country.

The company was founded in 1910 by Axel Leonard Wenner-Gren under the name Elektromekaniska AB. After the young company had initially grown strongly, it fell into crisis in the 1960s like many of its competitors. In response, a phase of expansion and diversification was initiated that made Elektrolux one of the world's leading electrical appliance manufacturers by the 1980s. As part of this restructuring, many smaller companies were taken over.

Today, the group also includes brands such as AEG and Zanussi, which are strongly represented in German-speaking countries. In Germany, the company has been selling its household appliances for private use exclusively under the brand name AEG since 2013. However, the Elektrolux name has been retained for its commercial kitchen and laundry systems.

In the commercial kitchen technology sector, the group produces kitchen systems, refrigeration technology, dishwashing technology and spare parts for professional food preparation. For cooking, roasting and baking, the manufacturer offers its customers a diverse range of premium appliances, from highly efficient cooking blocks, ovens and compact ovens to attractive front cooking systems.

Efficient and hygienic processes are ensured by the Elektrolux dishwashers, which are available in numerous designs for kitchens of all sizes. Glass washers, under-counter and bonnet washers, push-through dishwashers as well as highly efficient dishwashing lines guarantee maximum washing performance with cost-efficient and user-friendly operation.

The Electrolux range is rounded off by a wide range of professional refrigeration products. Refrigerated cabinets, refrigerators and complete cold rooms work reliably and energy-efficiently even under the toughest conditions. Thanks to innovative designs, the storage capacity is in some cases significantly higher than that of comparable refrigeration appliances on the market. As an additional service, the manufacturer offers its customers the option of combining and customising refrigerated cabinets in a modular system.
