Winterhalter Gastronom GmbH is a German manufacturer of commercial sink systems. The company has been in existence since 1947 and is based in Meckenbeuren on Lake Constance. The manufacturer has a second production facility in Endingen am Kaiserstuhl. Winterhalter specialises in dishwashers, dishwashing chemicals, dishwasher baskets and water treatment equipment. The company sells its products worldwide.

Proven dishwashing technology from Lake Constance

Winterhalter was founded in 1947 in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance. Initially, it produced household items and electrical appliances, mainly from war scrap. Ten years later, the company presented its first commercial dishwasher, thus laying the foundation for its current core competence. Numerous innovative developments followed over the decades, including the first professional dishwashing hygiene products as well as a selection of dishwasher baskets that were adapted to the items to be washed.

In the meantime, the manufacturer has subsidiaries or partner companies in 70 countries. The company is still run by the son and grandson of the company founder. With a total of more than 1,500 employees, Winterhalter is one of the world's leading manufacturers of warewashing technology.

The product range focuses on dishwashers, dishwasher baskets, dishwashing chemicals and water treatment equipment. In addition, there are the corresponding original spare parts, which the manufacturer also sells worldwide through its partner companies. The company's portfolio includes under-table, push-through and appliance dishwashers, as well as belt and basket transport machines for various industries.
